Do you need a coach or therapist?

Your coach is your personal cheerleader, your strategic mastermind and your accountability partner rolled into one. She helps you set bold goals, craft a game plan, and unleash your inner champion. Whenever you doubt yourself or you want to crawl back into that cozy comfort zone, she’ll cheer you on to keep venturing ahead. She believes in you when you doubt yourself while you’re creating the life you haven’t lived yet.
Coaching is about the present and the future. Your coach is your GPS for life, guiding you towards the life of your dreams with a pep talk or two along the way. Whether you’re aiming for career success, more meaningful relationships, or simply figuring out what the heck you want in life, your coach is there to upgrade your mindset and tell you that fear, making excuses and procrastination are really true signs of growth. Those paradigms are simply reminding you you’re venturing outside of your comfort zone doing the right thing. Change was the whole point, right?
But hold your horses. Sometimes life throws you a curveball that even the best game plan can’t tackle alone. That’s where your therapist comes in. He’s your emotional architect, helping you navigate the labyrinth of your heart and mind with empathy, insight, and a box of tissues.
Therapy dives deep into the past and present, uncovering the roots of your struggles and helping you untangle emotional knots you didn’t even know you had. There’s no one size fits all solution to life’s challenges. The most important thing is to reach out for support when you need it. We all go through the ups and downs of life. Getting help is a sign of strength, not a sign of weakness! There were times I worked with a therapist and a coach at the same time; the first to become a better parent, and the latter to become a better business owner. We all need each other.
